SIGNUP:
You will be able to sign up for Regular Play Days or Pick Your Partner/PYP Play Days 4–18 days in advance.
Sign up for Pick Your Partner/PYP Play Days directly on the WGA 18-Hole website under the 'Event Sign-Up' tab, using the appropriate PYP Sign-Up Form. Only ONE partner from your PYP team should sign your team up. To cancel a PYP sign-up, please send an e-mail to wga18hole.hsv@gmail.com before the Sunday, 6pm deadline.
Sign up for Regular Play Days on the 'Golf Genius WGA 18-Hole Portal' under the 'Event Sign-Up' tab of our website (see steps below).
Play Day Sign-Up Steps through the Golf Genius WGA 18-Hole Portal:
1. On the WGA 18-Hole League Website, click on Event Sign-Up -> Golf Genius WGA 18-Hole Portal.
2. Golf Genius page will open; on the left, search for your name, select, and click on “Sign Up.”
3. Your name will be displayed; click on “Save.”
4. You will see a message saying you signed up; you will have the option to Edit/Cancel directly below.
5. If you cancel in Golf Genius within the allowed timeline, you will see a red cancel button that reads “Cancel Entire Signup for this Round.” Don’t panic! It only cancels your individual signup for that round.
6. Before the sign-up deadline, you will see a list of players who have signed up in the Tee Sheets tab. After the sign-up deadline, you will see tee times and pairings in the Tee Sheets tab.
LATE SIGNUP: If you miss the sign-up deadline, you may call, text, or email the assigned Tee Time Adjuster listed at the top of the WGA 18-Hole Roster to have your name put on a wait list.
The last day a player may be added to a play day roster is Tuesday 6pm preceding the play day.
If there are no appropriate slots available, the late entrant will not be entered into the event.
We try our best to accommodate anyone who wants to play but cannot guarantee a tee time if you sign up late.
CANCELS: To cancel after the online deadline call, text, or email the assigned Tee Time Adjuster as soon as possible (between Sunday 6pm and Wednesday 3pm). If you are cancelling after 3:00pm on Wednesday, you will need to call the pro shop directly. Player cancellations will not be updated on our pairings page, so you won’t be able to see cancellations.
Weather-Related Cancellations: Unless the Play Day Chairman cancels the play day, we play rain or shine. However, play days will be cancelled if there is lightning in the area. If a play day is cancelled, you will be notified by a phone call if you the have the first tee time; otherwise an email will be sent out early that morning and notice will be posted on our website that the play day has been officially cancelled.
